PMA Long Course 153 Details & Registration Date

PMA Long Course is 153 regular commission, offered by Pakistan Army. The previous PMA long course was 152 and the next course will be 154. PMA Long Course is announced twice a year. Once in March and second time in the month of October. The March course is known as an even course and the October course is known as an odd course. 153 To join Pak Army through PMA Long Course you must have at least Inter/DEA/O level qualification to apply for PMA L/C. The training duration of PMALC 153 at Pakistan Military Academy is two years. These two years are divided into six terms. PMA 153 cadets study BMAS (Bachelor of Military Art and Science) during their training period. After training, cadets are awarded the rank of second lieutenant. If you want to become an Engineer in Pak Army then you should apply in Technical Cadet Course in which candidates can apply after FSC Pre-Engineering and ICS. PMA Long Course Preliminary Test Syllabus

Intelligence test

An intelligence test is designed to test a candidate’s problem-solving abilities to determine whether he has met minimum intelligence standards. The PMA intelligence test is taken on a computer. 153 Computer knowledge is mandatory for the preliminary examination of PMA long course.

Initial interview

Candidates clearing written, medical and physical tests will be finally interviewed by S&ROs instead of Brigadier (by formation) and Psychologist. Before the interview, each candidate has to write an essay of 10 lines in English and Urdu. Candidates will be issued simple paper before English and Urdu essay interview. The topic of the day will be displayed on the board in the examination hall/room. S&RO will write pointers for each candidate appearing for the interview. Each candidate will be given marks out of 20. A candidate securing less than 12 marks will be considered as failed and will not be given Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) form. Following are the instructions for conducting the interview: Expression and confidence in English and Urdu. Plenty of current affairs information. A lot of information about bio and culinary studies. holistic approach. Extracurricular activities include sports and hobbies. Any other aspect deemed appropriate by the panel. Recording of interview of each candidate through CCTV should be ensured by all AS&RCS and shared with PA Dte on CDs on weekly basis. Clearing the initial interview requires confidence and proper concentration. After clearing the PMA preliminary interview, candidates have to submit their ISSB forms. After 2-3 months they are called ISSB test.

PMA Long Course ISSB Merit and Selection

Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs) will fill all required entries (physical test and interview marks) in the module. Further nomination of candidates for Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) will be done through Directorate of Personnel Administration merit. Candidates recommended by the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB) will undergo a detailed medical examination at the nearest Combined Military Hospitals. Final selection based on candidate’s performance will be done at General Headquarters.
