Citizens of Pakistan and domicile holders of Azad Kashmir/Gilgit-Baltistan. After the final selection, candidates with dual citizenship will have to admit nationalities other than Pakistani.

Eligibility Criteria

Education
► FSc (Pre-Medical) with minimum 70% marks or pass with minimum grade C in ‘A’ Level Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
► Candidates domiciled in Balochistan, Sindh (Tharparkar District, Umarkot), Northern Areas, Azad Kashmir (Upper Neelum Valley) and FATA can apply with 65% marks.
► Candidates with foreign qualifications like “O’ Level and ‘A’ Level etc. will be required to obtain equivalence certificate and conversion of marks from Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC), Ministry of Education, Islamabad and Attach it with the application form.
► Candidates who have passed FSc Part-I Examination with minimum 70% marks and appearing in FSc Part-II/Final Examination also apply for “Certificates of Hope” from Head of Institutions. can give Such candidates have to submit an attested copy of FSc Part II certificate/ mark sheets to PA Directorate (PA-3C) General Headquarters (GHQ) Rwp within 5 days of declaration of result. Otherwise their selection will not be processed further.

Ineligibility Conditions

Conditions of Disqualification
Twice “not recommended” by Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB)/ General Headquarters (GHQ) Selection Board.
Declared medically UNFIT by CMH/ Appellate Medical Board.
Medically declared UNFIT due to Hepatitis B and C (Appeal Medical Board cannot be appealed).
Enrolled cadets and recruits withdrawn/resigned from Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) training academies/institutions on grounds of discipline, character, medical, incapacity, weak profile, application or unsuitability. Discharged.
A person dismissed/removed from any other government job.
Convicted by a court of law for moral turpitude.

Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure

Registration and Initial Selection Process
Registration through internet. Candidates can register through internet at the website www.joinpakarmy.gob.pk. or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs).
Registration at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres. Candidates may report to the nearest AS&RCs for allotment of registration/roll number along with necessary documents (mentioned in advertisement) and prospectus fee for completion of registration formalities. Candidates will also bring these documents on the day of the test.
Important Points
► MDCAT (National Medical and Dental College Admission Test) Exam. Medical Cadet in Army Medical College Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore Medical College, Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences, CMH Multan Institute of Medical Sciences, Karachi Institute of Medical Sciences, CMH Bahawalpur Institute of Medical Sciences (only Candidates applying for Army). It will be mandatory for CMH Kharian Medical College to pass the current MDCAT (National Medical and Dental College Admission Test) examination by Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) with 65% marks.
► Candidate must indicate the name of the applying college from the above institutes at the top of the application form (Page 1). Candidate can also choose colleges on preference basis.
► While registering on the internet, the candidate should carefully communicate this choice to the colleges.
► A candidate selected on merit for an institution will not be replaced.
► Candidates selected for MBBS in any of the above medical colleges will be disqualified if they do not appear/register in their respective regional examinations.
► Written / Intelligence / Personality Test. The written test will be based on multiple choice questions from English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Candidate declared successful in written test will undergo physical/medical test at AS&RCs.
Physical test. Candidates must qualify the following physical tests:-
► 1.6 Km Run – 8 minutes
► Push Ups – 15 repetitions in 2 minutes
► Sit Ups – 20 repetitions in 2 minutes
► Pull Ups – 3 repetitions in 2 minutes
► Ditch Crossing – 7’.4” x 7’.4” and 4’ deep

Further Selection Procedure

Further Selection Process
Shortlisted candidates will receive notice through website as well as call-up letter for Intelligence/Personality Test and Interviews at General Headquarters (GHQ) Selection Board Army Medical College Rawalpindi. Recommended candidates will be medically examined at nearby CMHs. Final selection will be done at General Headquarters (GHQ) based on overall performance of the candidate.

22 weeks of Basic Military Training (BMT) at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul after completion of final professional examination.

The following documents/certificates are required at the time of registration:-
► 1 x Attested Photocopy of Matric Certificate. In case of ‘O’ Level / ‘A’ Level, submission of Equivalency Certificate issued by IBCC is mandatory.
► 1 x attested photocopy of computerized CNIC or Form ‘B’ issued by NADRA.
► 1 x Attested Photocopies of FSc Part-I (Pre-Medical) Particulars Marks Certificate and “Expectation” Certificate from the Principal of the College that the candidate will secure at least 70% marks in the FSc Part-II Examination.
► Attested passport size photographs to be pasted on the application form.
► Candidates who have already passed FSc Part-II (Pre-Medical) will produce 1x attested photocopies of Detail Marks Sheets (DMC).

Additional Information
Bond. Finally the selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve the army for a minimum period of 13 years. The application of the bond will start on completion of the MBBS degree course in the concerned medical college.
