NOTE FOR TRAINED NURSES:

A candidate should be registered with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
Postable core specialty courses i.e. ICU, OT, CCU etc. from PNC recognized Hospital/Institute will be preferred.

Ineligibility Conditions

Conditions of Disqualification
Declared medically unfit by the Appellate Medical Board.
Withdrawal/resignation/dismissal from Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force) training academies/institutions on grounds of discipline, character, medical unfitness, weak profile or unfitness.
The individual has been dismissed/removed from any other government service.
Convicted by a court of law for moral turpitude.

Registration and Preliminary Selection Procedure

Registration And Preliminary Selection Process
Registration through internet. Candidates can register either through internet or by visiting Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCS).
Registration at Army Selection and Recruitment Centres. Candidate can register on the website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk. The date and time of the test will be notified on the internet for which the individual must have an email account. Candidates will report on the computerized roll number slip for the preliminary test on the exact date and time given. A date once given will not be changed. Candidates must have working knowledge of computer as registration and test will be conducted on computer.
Candidates may report to the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centers for allotment of registration/roll number along with necessary documents (mentioned in advertisement) and prospectus fee for completion of registration formalities. Candidates will also bring them on the test day.
The written/intelligence test will be based on multiple choice questions in English, Mathematics, Culinary Studies, Islamic Studies and General Knowledge. Candidates declared successful in written/intelligence test will have to undergo physical/medical test and interviews at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCS).

Further Selection Procedure

Further Selection Process
Interviews of successful candidates will be held in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi by the General Headquarters (GHQ) Selection Board for which separate call-up letters will be issued. Successful candidates will receive call up notices for interview. Final selection will be made at the General Headquarters (GHQ) based on overall performance of the candidate.

Candidates will deposit following documents with Army Selection and Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs):
► Original certificates/documents/detailed marks sheets along with two attested photocopies of each educational certificate/degree.
► Candidates serving in Government’s institutions/departments will render No Objection Certificate (NOC) of the concerned establishment.
► Attested photocopy of domicile duly verified by issuing authority.
► Photocopies of computerized National Identity Card.
► 3 x Coloured photos duly attested (front & back).

Additional Information

Training Period
► 6 weeks basic military training at AFPGMI Rawalpindi and CMH Kharian. Note: On successful completion of training, commission will be given in the rank of Lieutenant.
Finally the selected candidates will be required to sign a bond to serve in the army for a minimum period of ten years for BSc Nursing before starting the training.
