Selection Criteria for Pakistan Army Jobs:
In the selection process, candidates go through a few steps:
Written/Intelligence Test: Candidates take a written test with multiple choice questions covering subjects like English, Mathematics, Culinary Studies, Islamic Studies and General Knowledge.
Physical/Medical Test and Interviews: Those who clear the written/intelligence test proceed to the physical and medical tests as well as interviews at AS&RCs (Army Selection and Recruitment Centres).
Physical Test: Candidates must complete the following tasks:
- Run 1.6 km in 8 minutes.
- Do 15 push-ups in 2 minutes.
- Do 20 setups in 2 minutes.
- Complete 3 chin-ups in 2 minutes.
- Cross a ditch measuring 7 ft. 4 in. x 7 ft. 4 in. and 4 ft. deep.
Psychological Assessment: Candidates who pass the physical test undergo a psychological assessment test.
Final Interview: Eligible candidates appear for final interview before Selection Board at AS&RC.
Salary Package:
As per our estimate and research candidates can be given minimum salary of 60,000 (PKR) and maximum 80,000 (PKR).
